Mission StatementWe wish to state that Africa Smokers Club has been born in Nigeria with Port- Harcourt as the headquarters.
Africa Smokers Club is a non- governmental, non- profit, non – partisan, non-violent, ideologically driven, freedom motivated and scientifically based organization.
It is common knowledge that World Health Organization, (WHO) and the face less “Public Health” have been orchestrating a campaign of calumny against tobacco smoking, tobacco companies and smokers.
Africa Smokers Club is not an Organization for smokers perse as most of its membership are seasoned professionals who are non- smokers, but those who share the common belief and have respect for liberty and the inalienable right of choice.
We in the Africa Smokers Club foresee a new Hitler in WHO, who wants to “conquer the world “, using smear Campaigns, half-truth and outright falsehoods to infringe on peoples rights, without remorse.
We then boldly say,
*That the choice to smoke or otherwise rests with the individual and not with WHO.
*That the so-called cigarette induced illnesses are also diagnosed in non- smokers.
*That WHO should be factual in its anti-smokers campaign and stop being baselessly statistical.
We therefore state that we are totally opposed to the totalitarianism of this ”new state” – WHO, before it begins to control our very thoughts.
We hereby declare that no amount of propaganda by WHO, legislation by its allies or even intimidation or threat can subdue us in this struggle for an egalitarian and free society.
